Photoshop editing skills

I just realized that I forgot to post this image to my blog. This was the photograph I made and sent out as Christmas cards this year. I have set the bar to a new height for our family cards again though. Now what can I do for next year. I have some ideas....wait and see.

Cancun Photographer anyone?

I will be jetting down to Mexico for a PPOC convention on Jan. 25, and in fact, by the time you read this, I will likely be there already. I hope to learn a few new tricks of the trade form some of the amazing workshops we will be having, and I also hope to get in a few photoshoots like the last time I was there. I was very fortunate to run into Kerry and Miranda on my last trip, both of whom were willing to model for some cool photographs on the beach. So I hope your week is good, because I know mine will be. I'll fill you in on the details upon my return, and show you some of the images from the trip.

Family Photography by Trident Photography

As many of you know, I donate sittings to silent auctions to raise money for assorted chairities. Well I just did a session with a family who was able to secure the winning bid on my services. Lori's family were very well prepared for the portrait session. I really liked how they all coordinated the outfits with the black tops, jeans, and barefoot. This contributed greatly to the unity of the images. I think we made some really nice relaxed photographs that show this family's togetherness in their own environment.

Commercial Photographer

I was called up on Thursday to photograph the images to accompany a piece in an industry magazing about healthcare providers. So I was able to meet up with the good doctors at the Select Healthcare Centre. They have quite a selection of non-traditional medicines and tinctures. I was able to try a piece of natural ginger too. That stuff has some bite to it! I met some of the friendly patients there as well who allowed me to take some photographs of the IV lounge while they were in there. Here are som of the images from today.

Family session

I had Bruce, Nancy, and their 2 teenage boys over for a quick shoot on Sunday. Bruce called me up the prior week and wanted to get some family photography done ASAP, for reasons I'll leave private. So I of couse was willing to accomodate, and had them in right away. Here are a couple of shots from the session. http://www.tridentphotography.com

Glenn Anderson

I got a call today to go and shoot Glenn Anderson at the Sutton Place Hotel as he was signing some special commemorative jerseys. Janet Deane from Next Wave Sports made the commemorative Jersey for Glenn, and he was very pleased with the result. Glenn will have his number retired at Rexall Place this week in a special ceremony before the game.
