Clyde and Michelle

I was referred to Michelle by my neighbor, and after meeting her, I just knew we would have a great time at ther wedding. Michelle is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting, and Clyde is a such a great guy, I know these two will be happy for years to come. I am very fortunate to have been able to work with them, and I'd like to share a few images from the big day.

A face you can trust

I recently had the opportunity to work with Mike Chadha, a realtor here in Edmonton, on some photos for his office. I think we really hit the nail on the head here by capturing his personality. This was a simple setup, I used a white muslin rather than a cyclic (9' paper roll) to keep it very portable. Thank you for the opportunity Mike, and I look forward to seeing these on benches and billboards around the city.

Model shoot

I had the opportunity to work with Louise the other day, and we had a really good shoot. I wanted to try sometinng with a bit of a 50's pin-up flair, and created this image. While I don't think I got the pin-up look I had originally thought about, I was really happy with this image. Then I had to try my hand at doing some make-up. Louise had a shot she wanted to do involving the butterfly, so she prepped herself and I started shooting. Then I decided that her eye makeup was to plain. So I asked her for her eyeliner and went to town. I have to say, the liquid eyeliner is the bomb! It goes on way better than a pencil. I also had her put on some red lipstick to really make the features stand out. I look forward to shooting with Louise again soon. From what I understand, her birthday is just around the corner.

Safety poster

I recently did a couple of photo shoots for Kewit, which is a large construction company in charge of building the interchange at Gateway Blvd. and 23rd ave. I really love the campaign idea. The shoot was to have some of the employees working at the site shot with their kids, and the text for the posters is Slow Down, my mommy/daddy works here. This is a great initiatve, and I am glad they chose me for this project. I will also be taking some aerials of the site as the construction continues which I a really looking forward to.
